What happens to aftershave if you leave the top off the bottle?

I have a bottle of givenchy irristible...ohh yeahh :) but I have lost the lid!! Does it gradually lose its strong sense of smell, or just remain the same?|||If you leave it open it'll evaporate, slowly. Use some cling film or something.|||It evaporates as its mostly alcohol.|||Eventually it will evaporate
